And Yet We Thrive Series is created by a combination of modeling techniques from Kozo, a papermaking material.   The anthropomorphic figures and faux spiritual scenes refer to the romanticizing of the natural world as “other”.  This human concept of nature relegates our relationship to a long held belief of the vanquished and the conqueror.
